I am using Camtasia Studio on my Windows 7 PC; the problem is I am unable to record any sound from applications such as sound from a game or video clips.
The volume controls are grayed out.
How do I fix it?
What are the things to remember before recording an audio?
Your help will be appreciated.

I will teach you just follow this.

Adjust the Input Level so the highest volume displays in the green to yellow range. Audio clipping may occur in the mid-orange to red range.
Your can record audio at a later time with the Voice Narration option in Camtasia Studio.
