Cannot install call of duty black ops

I just bought Call of Duty Black Ops game CD. But I cannot install the Black Ops. It gives install error at the beginning. I have a Pentium Core 2 Duo PC with 2 GB RAM and my OS is Windows 7.

What could be the possible reason of the installation error? Please help.

Upon reading your problem even though you did not share any error messages or images. I will give you some ideas on why you are having installation problems.

  1. Your software is not compatible with your OS.
  2. The graphic driver does not support your game.
  3. Your installer CD is corrupted.

Hello Nicki Hill,

The install error in the beginning is may be because of faulty CD. The CD may have some bad sectors or tracks or it may have some scratches.

I would recommend you to either post the screenshot of the error that you are experiencing or just go and get your CD replaced. Happy gaming. 🙂
