What to do when PS4 outputs no sound?

I have a PS4 and I use it to play games, no confusion at all. It is about 2 days now when it has ceased to produce sound. The video comes on the screen but there's no audio. I tried some fixes myself but it is not working even 1%. What may be done to fix this problem?

What to do when PS4 outputs no sound?

The PS4 has an option of automatic detecting sound drivers when you connect it to your tv or other device. The PS4 output sound via HDML.

 

In 'Setting' select 'Sound and screen' then 'output audio setting' then go into 'Audio Format' and change setting to 'Default' (Linear PCM). Uncheck other options like DDS5.1, ACC and DTS5.1. 

 

Or another method is to restore factory setting. It automatically adjust your PS4 sound drivers.
