Hello all,

I can't install X-Plane on my pc. I am getting this error message when I am trying to install it. How can I solve this issue? Please help. I am using OS X Lion.

Thanks.

An error occurred during installation:

I was unable to copy the file /Volumes/XPLANE9/X-Plane 9/ALL/Resources/bitmaps/Earth Orbit Textures/+60-130.dds.zip from

the DVD to the hard drive. (No such file or directory)

You can continue the installation and attempt to repair the damaged files later, or you can cancel the installation.

Hello Jefrey,

Your hardware may be the cause of the problems that you are getting right now during the installation of X-Plane. You will need to check the disc and see if that will resolve the issue.

You can as well go to www.xplane.com, and from there you will download the current version of X-Plane and then use it as the base for the rest of the install. You may be using an outdated version that it leading to the errors that you are getting right now. After you have downloaded it, you can go ahead and add scenery from the installation disks.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
