Hi Donald,

I think you really need some advice or suggestions. Well all I can say is many people are choosing to dual boot with Windows XP and a secondary Linux operating system.

Running the two operating systems on the same computer allows you to toggle between the best of both computing worlds.

I can suggest to you now the Linux XP.

You can use it because it is friendly like Windows XP.

Hello Donald,

Linux XP has come so far since it was first introduced more than 6 years ago. It has professional editions that are well trusted and used securely worldwide. It was designed for both home and business use. It is built on the available free sources of Red Hat Linux and Fedora Core.

You should be able to find most of your software needs under Linux. And for your other software that are still not available under Linux, you may use one which is becoming more capable of running windows software under Linux.

You can see below that its interface is pretty much like windows
