Can I earn money from using Photoshop?

I have learned to work with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 by means of online tutorials, articles and lessons. I want to know if working with Photoshop alone will be possible to make it as a living. But if it’s not, please cite any or the best program that may be useful for me to earn money.

Can I earn money from using Photoshop?

Yes it can be used as an income alone. But you need a contractor that only needs you to use photoshop. Works that only uses photoshop:

1. Designing different Cards, Trapaulins, Logo, etc
2. Creative Artist

But there are also certain fields that requires another software other than photoshop:

1. Flash Developer – You need to learn flash like macromedia flash or swish max
2. Web Developer – You need to learn how to use web tools to make it easy such as Joomla or WordPress
3. Mobile Design – To create different design for mobile apps.
4. 3D Render Editing – You need to learn how to use software such as 3D max, Maya or Blender.

Remember that you can work on a very specific task if you have a team and that is designing so I think you need to look for a team that needs a designer that will focus on designs only and nothing else so that you won't need to learn anymore of the said software above.

Hi,

Of course there are lots of people that live their life using the Photoshop software. But to do that you have to be an expert in Photoshop and also should have the knowledge of other related software’s.

If we consider about the web designing company. They need designers. So you can join in one of those places.

Another opinion is going for online jobs. Try web site like https://www.upwork.com website. If you are skilled you can earn a lot of money from it.

If you can learn about the animations along with the Photoshop it will be great.

There are some software’s such as AutoCAD that can earn a lot of money only with knowing it.

Can I earn money from using Photoshop?

Hi,

If you have great skills with Photoshop then chances are you should be able to make a living out of it. Simple jobs such as photo retouching can give you some money. You go on ahead and do the more complicated stuff for more money. You can try designing advertisements in billboards. If it involves pictures, graphics and everything else that Photoshop is capable of, you can make money out of it. There will always be people who’d need a graphics artist for whatever project they may be working on.

Aside from that, you might want to try programming and become a software developer. That also can make you a living. For instance, you can develop mobile phone apps and have them sold. If the app is good, you’ll have the whole world as your market.
