Can advance care pro 5 substitute as anti-virus?

Hi,

My computer is having some poor performance lately, then I've read about this advance care pro 5 in a pc mag. I bought and installed it on my PC. About its features, it says that it has the ability to remove spyware and malware.

Is the protection offered by advance care pro 5 good enough that I don't have to depend on other anti-virus software?

Hi,

The Advanced System Care version 5 is an auto cleaner and not an antivirus. This software just boosts your PC performance, removes spyware and fixes your registry among other things. An anti-virus on the other hand detects, prevents and removes software’s that are malicious. However, some versions of Advanced System Care version 5 come with an anti-virus.
