Hi,

I installed my new operating system Windows 7 on a wrong drive. I want to change it. I searched on the internet and found that I can do that by cloning the drive. Now I want to Clone my Windows 7 on the new drive so I can format my other drive in which I have accidentally installed the OS. Can I do this with acronis restore nt signature. I don’t know how doing this. I just read somewhere that it is possible with NT signature. Let me correct if I am wrong and help me to get rid of this situation. I really need your help in detail.

Hi Mellisa,

Yeah! You are right. You can clone the specific drive. But make sure that you will not format the source hard disk until the cloned target disk boots fine. After the cloning make sure that your system is smoothly running from the cloned target disk. If the cloned disk failed to boot then you can easily boot from the previous disk.
