I have known about the software named Photo Data Explorer, using which one can browse images and their EXIF metadata. Is any DLL needed for using this software?

One of the positive attributes of Photo Data Explorer is that you won’t need DLLs at all. As soon as you download the 1.2 MB executable, it’s ready to use. It is so convenient to use as it doesn’t require time-consuming installations or any other unnecessary extras. It is user-friendly too.

You will be able to view the images on the left pane in thumbnail form once you open a whole folder or a single image file. A toolbar will provide you the normal photo viewer-type attribute (e.g. Rotate, flip, zoom in and out, forward/backward to the next folder, view actual size etc.) as you click a certain photo which will be presented in the center panel. The key options are very handy as it uses basic keyboard shortcuts like PageUp, PageDown, Home, End and so on.
