I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on my Dell laptop. The OS is pre-loaded when I purchased this. I am using FastStone Image Viewer 4.6 but I am unable to see images. This error message appeared "…not a valid Win32 application" I don’t know what type of problem is this. Anyone know how it can be fixed?

There are several causes to such a problem which include the following:

  1. Either the files for that application are corrupt, bad, or they are missing. In this case you will need to run an application that will help fix the problem, and I will recommend ccleaner for you.
  2. The application may also have not been designed for the version of Windows that you using. In this case you will need to check the system specifications, see whether it is a 64 bit or 32 bit and get the right version of that application to install.
  3. The application may have been infected by virus, worm, or other malware that is preventing it to function properly, and therefore you will need to use the antivirus that you have installed to perform a full scan and remove any viruses.
  4. The other cause may be hardware incompatibility.
