Bluetooth issue with Mac book air

Hello guys,

I am having Apple – MacBook Air (Latest Model) – 11.6" Display – Intel Core i5 – 4GB Memory – 128GB Flash Storage. It is working great.

But the Bluetooth is not working for a couple of days. I paired this with the Big Jambox and it went fine. But when I am playing the songs I just hear noise, but not the actual song. The same problem when I pair it with my Bluetooth headset. I have restarted these several times and retried but no use. I have the latest version of Mac OS too.

Did anybody faced this issue before? Please let me know how I can fix this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Make sure to restart both devices. Once you've done this, go into Settings, Bluetooth, and make sure the device was discovered. If the device requires a pin, generate a new one and pair the device again. Make sure as well that your external devices have fully updated firmware. You can find firmware updates on the device's homepage, usually.
