Hi!

Can anybody tell me about the best Antivirus software that I should deploy on a network of 500 computers with a mixture of Linux and Windows computers. The best solution would be something that is easy to deploy, easy to configure and provide me good real time scanning and is not resource hungry.

Thank you.

In my opinion, the best Antivirus you can use for Windows and Linux is the Avast Antivirus. The installation and registration of Avast Antivirus are so easy. It looks simple, so the performance is fast. Avast can detect viruses that are not detectable with other Antivirus products.

Do not forget to always update the Antivirus you are using to deal with new viruses emerging variants. It would be useless (though you use air-pay Antivirus though) if you do not update the Antivirus in order to deal with new threats from new virus variants circulating.

Additionally, Avast Antivirus also provides convenience in the process of updating virus definitions that can be done anytime and anywhere and there is no need to update every day.

I suggest for you to use SuperAntiSpyware as the Antivirus for your computer. This software scans your computer for any harmful software, it manages to quarantine items, configure advanced scanning options and schedule scanning at specific times. It scans such as Spyware, Adware, Malware, Trojans, Parasites and Worms and anything that is being installed that can harm your computer. It also makes sure that you have the latest spyware for the most-updated protection and it restores those items that were quarantined and removed.

It configures real time scanning and another program option is to customize SuperAnti Spyware when you need it. I use this Antivirus for my netbook and I am currently using a Windows7 Ultimate. So I highly recommend it.
