I recently started using Adobe Photoshop, so I am taking baby-steps in it. I am searching for a quick way to make a collage in Photoshop. Can you tell me the short but the better way?

I know it can frustrate you while using the Photoshop at the beginning but I will give a short step to your problem.

  1. Click File and New to create a new blank image. Give the dimensions of the image based on print size.
  2. Click File and Open to open the first image to be kept in collage. Now, the collage image and the first image are open simultaneously. Then, select the move tool. Within the first image, click anywhere and drag it to release in the blank image window (collage image). The first image which now displays in the collage window is now Layer 1. You can track the layers by renaming each layer from layers panel to your convenience.
  3. Now, open the next image to be added and repeat the steps. Do the same for each image. Then, click once on the layer you want to adjust on the Layers panel. Click Edit and Free Transform. You can resize, reposition or rotate the layers to your need. In the end, click the check box in the Options bar to confirm the transformation or click the circle with a slash through it to cancel.

Have a good day editing.
