Hello Asten,

Most computer Technician do not recommend to many malicious software tools inside your system. Because they serve the same purpose. This could hang your computer for a long time because tool's codes may compete with each other.

If your email service provides free antivirus service then you better off using AVG.

If you really want AVG email security, then all you have to do is disable the Security tool from your email provider.

However, No one is prohibiting you to use them all together. But it's the practice not to use tools that serves the same purpose. Try using the too and see if there's no problems with it. If no problems occur then let them work together. But if issues appear. Then shut off one of the security app.

Hope this helps you.

Hello dear,

This depends on the atmosphere of your computer. The email servers give us the ability to scan emails for viruses. Whenever we try to open or download attachments from email, then an antivirus scan runs automatically and scans our attachment, then opens it. If you are concerned only for this reason, then you do not need to use a third party virus scanning software, but if you have viruses on your computer then I also recommended you use a third party antivirus. I hope you understand. Thanks.
