Automatic shut down problem in my laptop
Dear Rehan,
The problem you told is very strange. Without an error message given its too difficult to understand or guess what actually the problem is. You stated that your laptop automatically shutdown. I think your OS has encountered some problem which prompts your laptop to automatically shutdown. Be sure that your laptop is fully charged. The lack of battery backup might be creating this problem. If that is fine then the best thing I would recommend you is to install a fresh copy of Windows in your laptop to avoid this problem, and make sure the installation process is done without any error.
I hope you would go for it.
Thank you

Automatic shut down problem in my laptop
This problem was encountered and proved to be virus infected PC. You are infected with the PC-Off virus. Your computer automatically shut down when you use or execute the command prompt or the CMD.EXE. The computer or the operating system executes the PC-OFF.BAT which is located in the Windows folder.
-
To remove the virus from execution, open your registry editor and navigate these keys: HKEY_CUREENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Command Processor and on the right side delete the AUTORUN key with the value C:WINDOWSPC-OFF.BAT”. After removing the entry on the registry, navigate or explore your windows folder and look for the PC-OFF.BAT file and then delete it or just rename the file with PC-OFF.BA_ to prevent the file for being executed. Perform and anti-virus scan after this for the assurance of virus free operating system.
Automatic shut down problem in my laptop
Hello there,
Try to check it out if the shut downing of your laptop cause by a virus. So first thing to do is to back-up you important files then, get your Windows XP installer and reformat it.
Then after reformatting your laptop observe it if shut downing comes again and again then, I should say you are not infected of some kind of virus. Your hardware is the problem, check it out if the heat discharge of the blower is the normal heat, if you sense that the heat is abnormal you need to by a cooling fan or by the laptop cooler.
Here is the laptop cooler look like:
