Application Error occurred while collecting device data

Hello tech guys, I followed the step by step instruction to sync my harmony touch remote. Sync is not connecting held up with a message, error occurred while collecting your devices and data. And I tried again by unplugging and connecting it but still the problem with sync exist. Resetting the remote will help? Help me resolve this issue.

Well your problem is nothing so serious. What you do is try to reset your remote. In order to this hold the ‘Off’ button’ for about few seconds say for 30 seconds unless you see on the LCD screen that the remote reset. After this, reconnect the remote to your PC and try syncing again.
