Optimus shows data call failure

Hi,

I am a dedicated Sprint customer for more than five years. Haven’t faced this error in the past, when I unplugged from the charging station and I attempt to browse or check my mails. Constantly I am getting this error message “Data call failure”. Anyone having same problem please share you experience. Recently I updated my phone to Optimus from basic model. Your help will be appreciated. If nothing works, planning to call customer service.

Optimus shows data call failure

Working around this problem isn’t too hard but you must be careful because playing with your phone might be devastating for your phone’s system and might crash for good so be careful.

Navigate to Menu >> Settings >> About Phone >> System Updates >> Update profile.

Also, this technique will also work.

1. Restart the procedure of registering.

2. After entering the code, you will be asked to provide your MSL. Input your MSL.

3. When you’re on SCRTN home screen, choose “Reset” from the “Menu” option on the top-right corner of your phone’s screen.

4. Select “OK” when the warning message appears.

Now your phone will reboot and should start the hands free activation process without having any more error.
