I get this error whenever I attempt to run Any Video Converter Can not load output profile data from the configuration file “C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingAnvSoftAny Video Converterprofiles_v2.xml”, please check the installation and try again later. I’m using windows 7.

I tried to re-install the program, but still get the same error. I searched the internet for the profiles_v2.xml but found nothing that can fix my converter. Should I just try to use another software?

I once had an issue like this, what I did was I checked the folder that was specified in the error message that I got and found out that profiles_v2.xml file is not there. How can the program load a file not found? So, next thing I did was:

  1. Right click on the icon of Any Video Converter in the desktop, select properties.
  2. In the Properties window, select Shortcut tab.
  3. Under Shortcut tab, click on Find Target button.
  4. You will now be in the programs folder of Any Video Converter.
  5. Look for the file “profiles_v2.xml” and copy it.
  6. Last, go to the folder specified in the error message and paste the file(C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingAnvSoftAny Video Converter)

Try to follow these steps, and I hope this helps! Good Luck!

Hi Jerry Madison,

The problem in your application is that the file "profiles_v2.xml" is missing and windows could not locate it. Maybe it was accidentally deleted. You had tried to reinstall the program but the same problem appeared again.

When I'm experiencing the same kind of problem but from another application and if re-installation don't work either.

1.I used an application that cleans the registry. This application always solves my problems, it deletes/restores and cleans your system from the residue of all deleted files especially the registry created by the uninstalled programs.

I use the Advance system care pro it helps protect, repair, clean and optimize you system for better performance. It safely cleans registry junk, compacts registry bloat and defragments the registry for better performance. You can download it here :

2.Uninstall Any video converter then run Advance system care pro.

3.Reboot your pc and then install again Any video converter, if the problem persist, I suggest use another software.

I personally suggest Xilisoft converter, I've been using this software for years and it never fails me. It has better performance, fast and reliable, can install on any windows version from xp to windows 7. It can converts all known video and music files to any format you want for different types of players, name it ipad,cellphones,ipod,iphone,mp3 and many more.

You can download it here, it is safe.
