All my files have been dragged

I was exploring my files in windows C:/ when i dragged some of my important files. Now i don't know how to find them. I've tried the "search"  window but still it didn't show. Please help me. What are the steps that I need to do to get those important files back.

Well in your case when you were in your C drive & you were dragging your important files and then you certainly lost them, it happened because your important files must be gone into recycle bin. Try to see your files in your recycle bin if you didn’t emptied your recycle bin your files must be there and you can restore your files from your recycle bin easily. But if your files are not in your recycle bin than unfortunately they are lost permanently and you can never get them back. There is no other place where your files would be placed in your machine.
