Hi,

I have recently upgraded from CS4 to Adobe CS5 Master Collection but am getting the error below when starting Photoshop CS5. After uninstalling CS4 I am still unable to start Photoshop CS5. I’m using Windows 7 and my Administrator permissions are fully enabled.

My PC is set to Admin=User and I am the sole user of my computer.

Photoshop.exe – Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d). Click

OK to close the application.
                                                                              OK

Can someone help me get Photoshop working?

HI Rober Marin

First you should check for any Windows updates that are available as it could resolve the problem!

Then you should install the updates available for Adobe creative suite 5 from Adobe's website.

Here you should find all the updates you need for your  Adobe Creative Suite 5 for Windows:

Or you can check out this link below for updating your Suite:

Hope it helps
