Hi guys,
I downloaded Photoshop and during mid installation the screen freezes up and this pop up window comes up after a while:

I have tried installing a different download of the same software but still get the same problems.
Help will be much appreciated.

Hi,
This error appears for many reasons. The best way to solve error is to replaces this software with its new version if available. If there is no new version available then try to install this software from other source. Download it from here then reinstall this driver software again.
If you have virus then remove it first. There is another reason that may be your computer is corrupted with virus. So need to use updated antivirus and scan full computer. When you have done with it then use some data recovery software for recover your lost data. Â Â
Adobe Photoshop CS4 needs minimum requirement of 500 mb RAM, 64 mb video RAM, and 1.66 Ghz processor. If you do not have these minimum equipment then update your pc first. Then try to install this software.

If you are installing Adobe Photoshop CS4 on Windows XP, make sure your computer meets the requirements. Adobe Photoshop CS4 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 32-bit only and Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition) Service Pack 1 both 32-bit and 64-bit. It requires at least 1.8 GHz or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.
Some of Photoshop’s GPU-accelerated features will require a video card with OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0 support. Its multimedia features also require at least Apple QuickTime 7.2. Since you are installing it on Windows XP, make sure your operating system is 32-bit because Adobe Photoshop CS4 will not install on 64-bit Windows XP.
Also, make sure your operating system is on Service Pack 2 or higher because it will not install on Service Pack 1 or if you don’t have a Service Pack. If you are using Service Pack 1 or you don’t have a Service Pack, download Windows XP Service Pack 2 and update your operating system.
You may also update your operating system to Windows XP Service Pack 3. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. See if this works.
