Hello,
I just installed Adobe Illustrator and I knew it was successful. Then, I tried to start it when this error message popped up (below). I tried reinstalling as instructed but nothing seemed to improve and got the same error message. I may have missed a step or something.
Help will be much appreciated.
Adobe Illustrator
The Adobe Illustrator application can’t run because it has been damaged. Please reinstall from your master disks.

Hi MJShaw,
I hope you are doing well. That kind of error is due to an old account damage of Adobe Illustrator. You need to un-install and re-install Adobe Illustrator one more time. I also suggest you to go to System Preferences and make a new account. If you already made a new account, try to log in as a new user. Adobe Illustrator can’t run error
Hi MJShaw,
The error occurs possibly because of compatibility issue and maybe you are using the wrong key. The compatibility issue arises when you are trying to use a Windows' key on another platform such as Window XP key in Window 7 or Mac OS. You need to identify the write installation setup for your machine.
Secondly, if you are using exported registry key from another file, ensure that you are exporting the right key for the setup and the installation setup is up-to-date. For example, using a key for Wise 4.67 on Wise 5.52 it will bring up the error. Get the right key for the right installation package.

It’s really hard to say because there are many causes that might damage your Adobe Illustrator. Also, it contains thousands of system files and troubleshooting all those is really impossible. So the best choice is to install Adobe Illustrator again.
But the fact is, you don’t have the installation DVD. You can get the latest Adobe Illustrator from here. Then register with your existing product key.
This will absolutely solve your issue.
