My Windows Vista Computer has a User account password, so no one can easily access it without my permission. But when I'm not at home, a relative is trying to access it and keep guessing about my password, to open my computer.

Is there a way that I can temporarily lock my logon screen, for a limited attempt to enter an incorrect password.

Help me on this please.

I have been trying to burn one of my favorite games onto a DVD but keep getting an error message.

I am using ImgBurn software in order to burn the content. There are no issues while trying to burn other contents on to a CD, but when I try to burn this game into a DVD I am getting an error message

I have been receiving D3DX9 dll error message on my machine from the past few days. I have Windows 7, on which I have installed Media Player Classic –Home cinema.

I have to run the installation, without any errors. When I try to use it, by playing a video file , an error message pops up.

Warning creating EVR Custom renderer

No D3DX9 dll found. To enable stats, shaders and complex resizers, please make sure to install latest DirectX End-User Runtime.

Is there a bug, with this application? Or do I need to install something else, in order to play the video files?

Whenever I am trying to use the application with command line options, I received an error message.

I am not sure how I can use the command line option, without getting this error message.

I am trying to establish a SSH/SFTP connection using PuTTy.exe. I have the application installed on my Windows Vista Ultimate machine. From that, I am trying to establish a connection remotely.

Whenever I try to SSH or SFTP I am getting the following error message:

Couldn’t agree a client-to-server cipher (available: aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,arcfour256,arcfour)

Here comes a strange error message with PuTTY.exe. I have been using it for so many remote connections before. I try to just click on PuTTy.exe and then enter the remote host and the connection is established.  

When I try to connect it through the command prompt, I am not able to establish a connection between the server and host.

I am getting an error message:

Invalid Port Number

When I try the same connection with Putty.exe, I don’t have any issues. Not sure what  the problem could be.

I am requesting help for one of my applications named PuTTY. I have the application installed on Windows Vista Ultimate laptop. I am trying to access my iPhone using Winscp with a USB cable.

I have been able to establish the connection successfully, without any error message before. I have worked and transferred applications but today, when I try to establish a connection I get the following error message.

Network error:  Software caused connection abort.

Not sure why this error message pops up. After this my connection was no more.

I am trying to install Antenna on my Windows Vista Home premium machine. I already have Adobe AIR installed on this. I have downloaded the package and when I try to install Antenna , I keep getting an error message to contact the application author.

Since two weeks I am unable to connect my dedicated computer to the Internet.  When I go into the network settings, it says everything is working and then I'm connected.  But when I try to launch Google chrome, it says it crashed and cannot connect. I cannot even get an update for Avast Antivirus.

My computer is running properly with Windows Vista RAM 2 GB. Sometimes, when I try to open some application an error message appears on the screen, "physical memory is too low, unable to execute the operation".  But after restart all is okay.

Why  am I fetching this kind of message?
