I have acquired new Windows 7 Home Edition OEM. I installed the operating system using the DVD ROM which is included on the bundle. I have bought the Windows 7 Home Edition OEM a few months ago and didn’t install it immediately. I finished installing all needed to be installed on the said installer.

Can't Register my Windows 7 Home Edition OEM.

My problem occurred when I was registering the OS. I can’t register over the internet. The installation tells me something like “the server is not available, please try again”. I am trying to register for the whole day but I’ve got no luck. I have no issue on my internet connection and compatibility to may hardware is good.

I am a user of Windows 7. Recently I heard that Microsoft has released Windows 7, Service Pack 1. So, I wanted to try it and install it on my PC. But after installing this, I am having a problem with my PC.

The problem is, if I give a high load in my PC, it restarts, showing Blue screen error. I also can’t install Games for Windows Live & play games using it. Please someone help me. Thanks in advance.

I have to do a system recovery on my HP Compaq Presario notebook. Everything is going fine until I reached the applying system settings window, my notebook suddenly restarted itself. When it opens, it brings me an error like this;

An unexpected error has occurred. Please close and try to run Setup again later.

So I turned the computer off and opened it again after a while. I tried to run the recovery again,but every time I do, it will just lead me to the same error box. I have the recovery disk with me. Is there a possibility that my disk is corrupted?

My scanner for the OfficeJet J4580 did not work on my desktop using Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002, Service Pack 3.  It will however work using the Dell Latitude Notebook running Windows XP Professional.  If I use the scanner camera wizard "the computer cannot detect the scanner" appears.  HP document manager says "no scanner found".

I have Acer Aspire 4730 laptop with in built Bluetooth device. I never use this, since I bought this laptop last year. But when I have to use it, I could not figure out why it can't detect any available device.

Originally, this laptop is running Windows Vista, but I decided to upgrade to Windows 7.

I searched on the Acer support page to download the driver's updated version. But there is no available driver for Windows 7, 64 bit. I don't know how the computer technician installed my Bluetooth driver on my laptop.

I have problems uninstalling some programs in Add/Remove under control panel. There are programs, that I cannot manually delete. There is no option to Uninstall, but there is a Change button when you right-clicked the specific program.

And sometimes there is totally no button to display.

And sometimes the program itself does not appear on the Add/Remove window. So I want to know, how to uninstall these programs and how I can see the programs that are not listed in the Add/Remove Window.  I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.

This is a Pentium Dual Core CPU with 2.00GHz loaded with 2GB RAM.

I am having this problem for a week now and still wasn't able to find solutions for this. I don't remember any errors before shutting down my computer from the last time I used it. But since then, when I started it again, I am not able to continue booting in a normal way.

When i shut down windows XP, i get something called add word pop up, which says its running and i have to end task, but even that doesn't work straight away sometimes taking up to 7 attempts to end program before it shuts down.

Any idea?

Illegal System DLL relocation-RTHDCPL.EXE. I get this error all of a sudden. "The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application is not running properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:WINDOWSsyste32HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL contacted for a new DLL."

How to fix this?

And which vendor do they mean?

I got a minor issue, not really urgent.

I am planning to reformat my laptop, but, I am having a difficulty finding my product key. It is a small stick on that. I regretted that I was not able to handle it with care.

Before I can reformat my laptop, is there a way for me to determine my product key?
