Windows OS
Hi,
My son got me a new computer last week, for my birthday and it has Windows 7 on it. I can’t find Windows Mail. I also tried to look on the installed programs to check if there are any email programs installed but was not able to find anything. With my previous computer, I was using Windows mail. Now this new computer has nothing on it.
Should I ask my son to return this and have this installed? Could they have just missed installing it. Help me, please.

Good Evening Guys,
I came here to ask you to solve for me a message, appearing on the computer & help me with a decision on it.
Firstly I will tell you about the specifications of my system, I have Windows 7 running on my laptop.
Secondly what I want to ask about is, I want to Delete Registry Keys in my Windows 7 and here is the pop up message:
Confirm Key Delete
Are you sure you want to permanently delete this key and all of its subkeys ?

Hello everyone,
I was updating Microsoft Windows but when the updates were applied an error code was displayed. And it gets displayed every time I open Windows Media Center. I had created a restore point two days ago before installing Microsoft office, but that is not working.

Hi,
I am using Windows 7 since it was released. Recently after releasing SP1, I installed it. But now I am facing some problems. It is my desktop gadgets have been disappeared and I cannot open the gadget by right clicking the mouse. Is this a problem of Windows 7 SP1 or anything else? I use CPU meter and clock gadgets most and it is painful without these. Can someone please help.

Hi Wendy,
It sounds as though you have Windows 7 Starter. Is that correct?
If so, there is no personalization. However, you can get around this very easily by downloading Oceanis, it's safe, it's free and has been a solution for so many people with the same problem as you.
Here is the link: Oceanis
When you have downloaded it, you will be able to change the desktop background and there is also an optional desktop slide show (shuffle).

Hi there TechyV experts,
I am having a really bad day. I know I should not tell the story of what happened to me the whole day. But, the worst of them all – my laptop was ruined.
I have a Dell laptop and I am encountering the error 1000 – 1046. I do not know what this error is all about, but when I researched about it. It says something about hard drives. When I knew about this, I got totally worried because of my important files.
I wish there is a way for me to save my hard drive as I was not able to back up all those files. Any help which can save my hard drive and files will be greatly appreciated.

I just ordered a 500 GB hard drive for my laptop. I'm planning on tri-booting Windows, Ubuntu, and SnowOSX Universal (OSx86 distribution). I have a few questions:
I'm currently running XP, and I have a free upgrade to Vista I could use if I wanted to. I'm also considering pirating Windows 7, but I'm wondering if that's worth the hassle. If it's not, would you recommend I use Vista or XP? If it is, what's the best method? RemoveWAT, Windows 7 Loader, or something else?
I'm planning on having a ~200 GB storage partition, which is accessible from all three operating systems. I know Linux can handle everything, but I'm not sure what the best option would be which supports OS X and Windows.
Thanks
