I am using computer from previous few years. Mostly I play the video games. Once I was playing the game, suddenly sound of game was off. Then i restart my computer and play again video game but its sound not come back. Please provide me its solution.

I have four partitions on the hard drive of my computer. Whenever I try to open them with a double click.

They won't open. But When I right click on the partition and select open in the menu it would open.

Someone please tell what is the reason for this?

I am experiencing this problem from a very long time. When I switch on my DELL latitude 2100 netbook after the DELL screen and before loading my windows 7 it shows me a black screen with a kind of a cursor blinking at the top left corner of the screen. Earlier it use to appear for about a second however now I have it for about a minute. Please help me because that screen is really annoying and I always have to wait for my system to get started.

I just bought an upgraded version of Windows XP Home so I could use my Windows 98 SE desktop.

I ran the CD but about half way through the installation, the screen froze.

There was nothing I could do but to shut off the computer.

It would not start up afterwards as if there was no OS installed. 

Should I discard my old PC or can I do something about it yet?

I have two hard drives on with windows 2000 server and one new hard drive with a newly installed windows xp pro on it.After loading windows xp on the hard drive and installing all the updates from Microsoft I go into windows explorer and click on the A floppy drive and windows xp doesn’t recognize it. I try to format the floppy disk and it goes all the way through until the end them stops and says it cannot finish.I reboot to the windows 2000 hard drive and it sees the floppy drive. I have also tried a new floppy drive and disks to no avail.

I downloaded from Net new game, application and a software updateThen i tried to install these programs on my PC. But during installation an error occered.This job made my system nstable.Then i wanted to make it stable.But i never made system restore earlier.So please guide me step by step to make this restore

In Microsoft Xp, there is a feature that enables you to clean your desktop my friend told me that but I have a hard time looking on how to enable it. Can somebody please help me how to enable it?

I’m using my Windows Vista computer for work. I usually leave it open, to monitor my work online, but most of the time I am unable to shut down the computer.

I want to know if there is a way, that I can schedule a shutdown, to automatically close it when my work is done.  If there is a way, to do it?
