How can I install the display driver of my Acer 5336 laptop in Windows 7.

My computer is always having an error message when my window opens. Although no strange activity is being seen, I just wonder why a system errors message is always popping up during opening of my windows.

How can I resolve the problem?

I have a this problem when I'm playing games, after a few minutes into the game it would freeze and then an error would prompt in my task bar, saying that my display driver stopped responding. I don't know how it happened because it only happens when I'm playing computer games.

Can someone help me to solve this issue?

I have a Seagate Barracuda 40 GB IDE Hard Drive, I decided to re-install my operating system from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Ultimate. During the installation an error appears (see image below). So I try reinstalling the Windows 7 Ultimate again, to check if the same problem will occur, well the same problem occurs.

So I decided to go back to my previous operating system windows XP Pro and an error appears that a hard drive problem similar to the error during Windows 7 Ultimate installation.

For a specific application requirement i want to know if we can use A or B drives as mapped drives?

Would there be an issue by using this?

I have HP pavilion DV6. I had a virus infection, so I decided to restore it to factory settings. The factory restoration had errors, so I opted to install a genuine copy of Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I tried to input the product key, it would not let me validate.

I chose to continue with the installation without putting the key, after completing. I went to System and under activation it says 30 days to activate. I clicked on purchase new product key and it went to the Windows validation website which validated and said "Microsoft Windows is genuine", but it still says 30 days to validate.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

I want to install XP to a virtual machine to separate my development job from personal tasks in my computer.

Due to hard drive space constraints, I only want to allocate 10 GB disk space for Windows XP. I notice that there are many components in the default Windows XP install such as Movie Maker, desktop backgrounds, etc which I don't need for my purpose.

How can I remove those components? I tried Add/Remove programs but it doesn't have any option to remove Movie Maker and such.

I have an old Toshiba Satellite laptop with the following specs:

• Processor: Intel Celeron 400
• Memory: 128 MB

I installed Windows XP but I'm afraid the 128MB memory is not enough to run many programs.  I use it only for web browsing, chat, Skype calls.

How do I maximize the memory?
