Windows OS
When I'm trying to run .msi file, the following message appears:
Windows Installer
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.
I searched the problem and I tried to follow Microsoft solution:
– I checked that the installer service was running
– I re-registered Windows Installer (the error occurred again)
– I re-installed Windows Installer (the error occurred again)
Nothing worked out. Any suggestions?

I am very fond of video games but I normally face a problem to quench my thirst of playing games.
Whenever I install and play a heavy size strategy game like commando, MOHA, Need 4 Speed etc, my screen resolution changes automatically (icons become larger) and I have to change it back manually to normal view size.
What should I do to remove this problem?

Sometimes a blue screen appears on my laptop screen, my laptop model is ‘Dell D630’, and two times I lost my important data. When blue screen appeared then I plug off the adapter and remove the battery to restart the laptop, because I tried a lot to restart the laptop with power button or press again and again ‘Ctrl + Alt + Delete’, but not working. I reinstalled windows 7 by a new CD but the problem is still here. I don’t know whether it is a hardware problem or software problem. Give me some suggestions.

Well I've done some research on the internet about this article but I found no answers. I have installed windows vista operating system recently on my dell laptop windows XP based. Installing vista made no problem at all, but when I tried installing my drivers I failed. I asked Microsoft about that problem and they answered me that there is a compatibility mode so you can run setup based on a previous version of windows, but it wasn't true.

I am using Windows 7 home premium for a while and from the beginning I'm experiencing a problem with the ad-hoc peer to peer or computer to computer wireless networks (able to share internet). The problem is that when everything is set up to automatically obtain IP and DNS servers the computer registers on the network but without network access and of course without internet access too, after that I set up my IP manually and everything is ok, but the next day manually written addresses won't work and it successfully obtains an IP address. Is it a bug in the windows 7 home premium edition or there is a bug in my laptop wireless card ??

I have an Acer netbook, and have had it for a few months now. I use it for schoolwork as well as some downloading of music. It has worked great until recently. I only connect to the internet via wireless router, never through an ethernet cable. Lately, anytime that I connect via wireless, after about 5 minutes, the entire netbook freezes up. Windows OS freezes. Absolutely everything. I end up having to do a cold shutdown and then restart it. However, if the wireless is turned off, it works fine.
Any assistance would be great.
Thank you.
