Windows OS

Windows OS

When I was uninstalling my brother's printer I think I must have screwed up and accidentally erased all the files. I finally tracked down a credible repair which says I'm missing all the files.

I used Windows XP disk and run sfc/scan but the disk doesn't match the one that I'd used to install the OS (cannot find where it is). Can I verify what files I need and add them without that disk?

I’m currently using Windows 7, I used Windows XP before and at that time I had encrypted photos and data in a folder. Why is it that I cannot access the metaphors and data saved in that folder. I can see the photos and data but I cannot open, copy or modify them.

What's the best means to recover from blue screen computer  memory error(s), due to a non format/scheme video ram driver, or just the wrong driver, or a 64 bit setting instead of 32 bit. There's just only one .txt document  and at least 3-4 physical addresses that I have to retrieve before I reformat it if need be.  Do I have to reformat it anyway?

I bought an HP Pavilion P6-2011 Desktop PC for my spouse. It comes with Windows 7.

But we are more familiar with using Windows XP so we want to downgrade OS from Windows 7 to Windows XP Professional.

I tried every possible way to do it. But the computer won’t let me.

Please cite step-by-step method on how to do it correctly.

Thank you for giving me your valuable time.

I was having problems with my Firefox browser for weeks.

It began freezing with increasing frequency, I noticed it was happening mostly on sites like YouTube, yahoo and I think some flash heavy websites.

At one point the first thing it did once started up was to freeze. I scan my system with Norton regularly and run the Registry and Disc cleaner from Norton Utilities often.

It also froze on me while in Safe Mode – Windows 7.

How do i fix this?

Hi guys,

We are using Dameware Mini Remote Control to several Windows 7 and XP 64 bit machines in the office.

I tried installing to a new Windows 7 client when I got this error message.

I went to the Dameware support website and saw a resolution on the error but I knew it was only applicable for Win XP’s so I was at the dead end.
