Windows OS
My PC has two OSs for dual booting. One is running Windows XP and the other is running Windows 7.
I am trying to open the blank home page on IE8 under Windows XP but blank page could not be opened. When I use other browsers to open blank page, some codes and overlapping appears. Some codes also appear when I use IE8 on Windows 7.

I have an old Dell desktop PC that runs Windows XP for a long time. Suddenly, I started receiving a balloon on my taskbar stating that my virtual memory is very low. After receiving this error, my computer just keeps on freezing when I attempt to do something with it. I tried running my AVG free edition and my Malwarebytes as well to no luck. Then I tried Spybot and Ad-Aware but the error is still there. My computer also freezes when performing defragmentation. What is causing this and how I can resolve it? Please help me, as I am on my way thinking that my computer is on its way out. Thank you.

Hi Experts!
I need your help right now. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 2 and I need to repair it, but I am having doubts on how to properly do it. My files are automatically saved in Drive C: wherein my operating system is already installed by default. My question now is will I lose all my files if I successfully performed Windows Repair?
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you.

I bought my computer on march 2005. It runs a Windows XP with 2GB RAM and 150GB HDD, Pentium Processor 1.7GHz. My problem is, whenever I try to click any icon on my desktop, it will take time before it opens.
I already run Kaspersky to scan for any virus but it is still the same.
I also run a defragmentation and nothing changed so far.
I do not have much on my computer but I really don't know why its acting very slow.
Can someone please help me?

Hi, may I ask for your advice please. What is Windows Installer v4 technology? Is it available for Windows Vista, or with any other programs, so that I won't need to buy anything? I wish to install it in my computer having software of Windows XP. Do I need to have a separate installer? Do I have to use Vista? I wanted to make sure, whether, Vista will identify the Executable set-up software program. What should I do? Thanks.

I have a very genuine problem. I usually synchronise my work between my blackberry curve 8350, my Microsoft outlook and windows XP. Well I don’t know how this happens but all my work is usually given the wrong dates. For instance, some of the due dates assigned to my tasks recently are 12th January 3897 and 3rd December 1765. Surely, does this really make any sense? These are dates that are obviously unimaginable and now they are the ones allocated to my work. I would like to know if there is anyone who may know a remedy to this. Thanks a lot.
