I have Western Digital [160 GB] Portable Hard Drive Few days back I gave it to my friend to Share some stuff when he return Portable HD is not working on my Computer which have Windows 7 BTW my friend have Windows XP, Now when I'm connecting my HD to my computer it give me Drive name with some "unable to load Icon" and not letting me open my Portable HD and ask me to format which is not possible.

I request to all of you to please tell me some solution, can't wait

I am using windows vista business edition. I am getting a particular virus Popup message that is in the picture.

If i click on the ok button it will Popup downloading one 'ieav.exe' application.

This is happening all the times i am opening the IE , folders,etc…

I have done the full system scan with my avira antivirus and also scanned with the windows defender.

But nothing is helping me to resolve this issue. I am not able to repair my IE.

Hello guys. I need to reformat my laptop because of a virus. Now here’s the thing. I’m using windows vista home premium. I had already changed the boot sequence, but it won’t boot from cd-rom.

Recently, after our class I decided to copy the files from my teacher's PC to my USB Flash Disk. 

When I opened it in my laptop, I noticed that there is an additional file in my USB Flash disk.

Is this a virus? It also duplicated also in my primary hdd of my laptop. 

Is there a way to delete or eliminate this file?
