Can I use a Chromebook with an external hard drive? and Can you use an external monitor with a Chromebook?

I was running the task sequence that, and it had a task called “USMT backup” and it suddenly failed at the Capture User Files and Settings giving the attached error code.

I always keep getting this notice every time I connect my USB to my netbook. I just bought my USB from a friend. I don't know if the problem was my USB or my netbook. My USB is a 4GB Kingston flash drive, and my netbook is Asus Eeepc 900HD. Can you tell me how to fix this?

I am getting an error on Backup using Vault 2011

We backup our system by using Vault 2011. Now we are planning to upgrade to Vault 2012 on a different computer.

So we tried to back up our system by using the 2011 version.
 

I followed the instructions posted on the manual on how to migrate from version 2011 to version 2012.

I logged in as an administrator, went to the Vault that I wanted to backup, clicked on Backup and Validated the data, then selected drive C to save the backup. As instructed, I have unchecked the Backup Standard Content Center Libraries.  Please see the screenshots attached. When the data was being validated by the program, a very long error is displayed

Hello, everyone! I need your help with the error I receive when using the Flash Programmer. I use the Flash Programmer to save the test code to the SPI memory of Flash that is on located on the developing board. I am doing this so that the code would automatically run every time the board is switched on.
Previously, the other codes that I have are working with the board by passing through the USB ICE. Now, these codes are no longer working as they used to.
I have tried to isolate the problem by running the code that is used to read and write the Status Register in Flash, in other places. I get this error when I did that.
