I have Dell XPS 8500 PC running on Windows 8 which I  upgraded to Windows 8.1 then tried to update drivers for my  HP Printer, it was working well and after shutting down the computer, now it gets stuck on the boot loop, going on and off, am getting this message"The USB device connected malfunctioned and Windows could not recognize it, please try to reconnect it again"  right before it goes off, what could be causing this problem? How can I resolve this?

I was using Skype on Ubuntu 13.04 and all was okay until I updated to Ubuntu 13.10 and Skype sound became distorted, I can make a call and the sound is okay, but when am receiving the call, I cannot hear the other person well, I have tried reinstalling Skype and the same problem persist, how can I correct this problem and what are the possible causes for the same?

I have this Acer Aspire EL 1600 which is running on Windows 8.1, but the trouble begins when I choose Hibernation mode, when I move the mouse to try to get the computer running again, the screen power button changes from orange to green but the monitor display is black, I am forced to restart the computer to get it working again, what could be the problem? I have a Dell XPS PC which is running on Windows 8, recently I installed a new mouse (Optical and wired) since then, I have realized that the cursor is so jumpy and erratic such that clicking and highlighting words is almost impossible, scrolling using the wheel disables the mouse altogether and the cursor will freeze, forcing me to unplug and plug the mouse back to the computer, what are the possible reasons for this problem? How can I solve it ?
