My VMware player is running Ubuntu 10.4 and I use a windows XP host machine. I need access to my main C: in Ubuntu. But when I try to access the hard drive from Ubuntu, I get this error message which says cannot open the file as system cannot find the specified path and causes Ubuntu to hang indefinitely. The error message displayed is shown below. I have partitioned my disk into 2 GB files. Can the virtual machine and host share partitions? Is it possible to have direct access to host’s hard drive? How can this be done? Please advice. Thanking you for your valuable help.

I am trying to use DVDFAb 9.0.3.3 version to rip a Blu-ray disk and all of a sudden, it gives me can’t connect to internet error message. After a couple of reinstallations of version 9 failing to help me, I tried using the DVDFab version 8 to complete the process. The installation went smoothly but I still get the same error asking me to reconnect. I have a lifetime license for DVDFab and it has not expired. I was only using this software last week without any problems. I have not changed anything in my computer since. What could be causing this issue? Please, can anyone help me out? Thanks a ton.

I was trying to configure a host profile on a host named esx-21b and the following error message stating that an error has occurred and the host configuration cannot be applied was displayed. It does not give me any idea as to what is the error. How can I find what is the cause of the error? I hope someone can guide me through this profile creation. I am a newbie here and could do with all the help you can offer. Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

I get the following error when I try to import an image file online to Prezi and I am not allowed to upload images. I did not find anything wrong with my internet connection and its speed is good as usual. I have to upload jpg and gif images. I checked the size of the images and did not find it to be large. I tried using chrome as well as Firefox for uploading file and both the browsers were unable to do it. What else can be wrong with my Prezi? I have run out of ideas. If anyone can suggest a solution, it will be a great help for me. Looking forward to your responses and thanking you.

I am trying to uninstall Mondain’s legacy from my system, don’t want to program to occupy space in memory. Not able to do it got stuck up in the middle and also I tried multiple times to uninstall. I just installed the NI Security Update 67L8J3QW. When I try to launch a process under the NI Lookout Server, I received an error message. What can I do to get rid of this error?

Need Professional guidance to solve my error, so I landed up here. I got this error when I am trying to save reference in an function global variable shift register. Googled the error message and I got cause for this error is VI reference is invalid. Explain me how to make it valid and solve the issue. Your help is appreciated.
