When I am using Adobe Illustrator, the 980 fonts installed on the computer is working and active. I turned it off for couple of times now in the Font Book. But when I go back to Illustrator, it will become active again. And it really bothers me because I have to spend so much time in scrolling through a long list of characters again and again to find what I really need. I will be very happy if someone can help me on turning the fonts off permanently.

While working with Adobe CS4 on an OS X 10.5.8, I am having issues with my fonts. I created a crescent shape with the circle tool and the subtract pathfinder and whenever I try to type a text inside it.

I am getting an error message that state. 

You must click on a non-compound, non masking path to create text inside a path.

I don’t know exactly what was wrong so I am seeking for help to resolve this.

I have a picture.jpg from my camera. I want to use that picture to make a logo but my company is required to make an .eps file. I used a normal picture viewer to convert it to .eps, but I am unsure if that will work. Does anyone know how to convert .jpg to .eps? And what software can I use to do this?

My computer is protected by the Norton anti-virus and I run several templates for database integration. Recently, I was editing the settings of the security details and when I clicked the properties page on the system protection box, an error occurred.

What could this mean and how can I fix it?

I am doing some research on the web and also at my work place and we have installed some systems for the Biometrics. These systems are aimed to enhance security and I have been put in the research and consolidation team and I need to know what makes up an authentication system for the biometrics.

I am a website developer and I have installed various applications in my laptop.

Recently I installed the Dreamweaver MX application to use for my templates platforms and design work for various assignments.

There is an error that popped up when I was using the templates and it restricted me from using Dreamweaver and hence access of it.

What could be the problem?

Macromedia Dreamweaver MX:

Dreamweaver is unable to rename the template. Access was denied.

I have installed my laptop with the Juno software but I keep getting a pop-up error even if it is not running. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it again and when I start running it, it still pops up an error message.
