My computer has a 1.6ghz processor and a 1Gb Ram. Its 32 bit. However, when I try to run Skype I cannot video call since they say my computer is too slow,what really are the right specifications for one to make a Video Call through skype?

After updating my computer last night whenever I try sign on to Skype I am getting this error message.

Now I can't use Skype, and I badly needed it I am afraid to do something that I am not sure of. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I am still getting the same error message whenever I try to sign in.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Recently I have updated my Skype to the latest version, and now I got problem.

When I try to start it I get a don't send error. Tried to reinstall Skype, install older version but no luck.

I do not know what version I had before when it worked. So I cannot restore it to the time when it worked.

Skype has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have two computers at home. Computer A and Computer B are on the same wireless network. If both are running Skype, and I transfer a file from one computer to another using Skype, does the first computer upload the content to a Skype server and the second computer downloads it from the Skype server?

Or, does Skype just use the router in place to transfer the file?

Original install for Skype was OK. But after few days I got message about having insufficient permissions for HK_local Machine. After that I uninstalled it and clean registry.

However, I continue to receive a new error message saying Error 1638 another version of Skype is installed. Please help me to resolve this error.

It was fine yesterday, but now i don't hear anything over headphones. I talk and the other person hears me through microphone, but i don't hear his voice.

I've checked everything (settings and etc.) still no improvement.

I am asking for some help regarding my Skype application, every time I made a call, my voice will feedback to my headset, I tried to lower down the volume in my computer, but I can still hear my voice in my headset.

I am recent user of Skype. It is comfortable for me to use. Just for curiosity one question is striking in my mind. If I buy credit from Skype to make a call to abroad, and make a call which number will appear on recipient screen of phone device.
