I am wondering if there is some way that I can gain access to an archived file from my home computer obtained from the Pendrive in my workplace. If there is some way please let me know. Thanks.

My file is on a network drive and every time I try to open a *.pst file I get this message: “Errors have been detected in the file z:MyFile.pst”.

Its file size is 2,856,729 KB.

Then, when I attempt to change the time and date stamp on the file it still cannot open.

Any ideas and suggestions?

I made a few changes to my Single sign – on (SSO) and a number of complications developed. Getting into a remote Applications website wasn’t an issue however, whenever I tried to start an application I was asked for my username and password and the message “the logon attempt failed” popped up at the bottom of the login window. My setup is such that the server is one that acts as the Gateway, Broker and Web Access 

I'm wondering what's the difference between hard disk memory and the random access memory.  Some friends were telling me not to call hard disk space as memory. How do they differ since based on names, both are called memory? I'm confused.

How many machines can I access through remote access control & what application should I install to access the machines ?

When I cannot reach my destination server and want to remote login from a far distance then what should I do?

Is proxy server an option that performs well in this matter or what processes can I use to login in my web page using a server.

I really want to know what is a remote access and how can I configure it. Is it the one that can enable you to access a computer even though you're not there? It's like you can see what the other person is doing with your computer, without being physically there.

Does it require you to know certain IP addresses or something?

I am using a laptop using Win7 HomeBasic and a Remote Desktop connected to a PC using Win7 Ultimate. I can connect with no problem but I cannot access an external USB hard disk that I attach to the remote PC (the Win7 Ultimate PC). The USB HDD shows up in My Computer but when I double click it I get the message "F:/ is not accessible. Access Denied". The USB HDD works fine when I connect it directly to my laptop.

I would appreciate any advise to fix this problem. Thanks
