I am trying to install Oracle version 10.2 on a Redhat 5.3. I am getting a error when installing it

"ora-27123 unable to attach to shared memory segment when database create."

I use oracle to maintain my database. Due to a UPS failure it has begun to show several error messages. It starts with ORA-01157 & ORA-01110 errors and shutdown with error ORA-01081.

I’ve shifted my oracle services to another server with the same name and Sid, such as previously it was in C drive but at present it is in E drive.

But still it shows the same error message.

How can I solve it?

My computer is giving me the error message “there was an error executing the command” on using the database Access 97 database and oracle database. I have created about 200 reports and queries and there are 30+ users who are using these reports daily without any problem. I am using Windows 7 and Access 97. The database is shared on a network drive, but even after copying it to my computer desktop it does not stop in giving this error. It works fine with other users and computers but in this machine it is having trouble. Can anyone help me fix this issue?

Out of a sudden, I get this error: out of process memory when trying to allocate string bytes problem in one of my client's oracle database. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to prevent it?

What is the best way to migrate an Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g? I've started the migration already but it takes a long time, just to migrate 1 table. I was trying to create an Oracle database in the office using Database Configuration Assistant when I got an error message about invalid hostname.  It’s our standard to use underscore in our in filenames, though. 

Is there other way to resolve the issue since I am not adept on EMCA scripts?

Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the following error –

Invalid Hostname isvp14 _ ora storage tucson.ibm com. Hostname should not contain underscore _in it.
