I am planning to take the CCNP Security Certification and I wonder if it's alright to go for it without a CCNA Security certification yet. Is CCNA a prerequisite to CCNP? I have finished the CCNP switching and I'm still working on the ASA firewall. Got any recommendations for me?

I currently have a Cisco Wireless N router which is an RV180W. Now, I want to know if it will be compatible with the Linksys bridge, the model is WUMC710. It seems to be a good deal with multiple ports available. Will there be any settings needed to have a smooth setup for these two devices? Are there any known communication problem between the two?

The Cisco Ironport C170 is unable to receive an 'Out of the Office' Notifications from the external users. There are no messages in the Spam folder and there are no configured settings in the Inbound rules about it. What do you think is causing this problem? What are some of your recommendations?

I wish to connect to a remote computer and I'm wondering if I can use Putty to do it. If yes, how do I use it? Can I also use it to make an SSH connection to the server? Where can I download the application from? What are the requirements to be able to start a connection in putty?

I have setup a wireless network at home using a Netgear Wireless N 300 WNR2000. I used WPA for security and all my laptops were able to connect without problems except for one. It cannot even detect the network at all. When I tried it in a hotspot, it worked. It can detect other networks within the area but not our own. What should i do?

I want to get QAS to integrate Mac computers to Active Directory and use it as SSO. I also want to configure drive mappings and set up an auto-mounted login. What are the steps I can follow to be able to accomplish this? Your response would be highly appreciated.

I am torn between getting a router or a network switch and I'm hoping someone could help me decide. I just want our multiple devices at home be able to connect to the internet and share files from one device to another. I need something that needs less configurations, hopefully, something that can work right out of the box.

I got a Samsung SMART TV and I have set it up for wireless internet connection. It shows it is connected to wireless. but it takes time to access the apps. Eventually, it will prompt that there is no network connectivity available. Are there further settings needed to be checked?

Hi,

Please solve my trouble. Is it possible to find out what devices have accessed or attempted to access a Wi-Fi signal? Like a history of Mac addresses with dates and times of access or attempted access?
