I encountered this confusing problem with my Silverlight application.

I already installed Visual Studio 2010 and the default application is Silverlight 3.

I want to upgrade it to Silverlight 4, so I installed it, but Silverlight 3 still shows up as the default application.

Kindly assist me with this problem?

I have to debug the dll code that I just generated. I have this VS2008 program with a function that sets the Start External Program, but the thing is that I need to use the VS2010 version.

However, I can’t find the same function in this version.

I’ve spent some time trying to resolve this on my own but had no luck. The problem I’ve encountered is in the installation process of vCenter plugin 4. To be precise, the installation goes well but it won’t start up after everything’s finished. The error I get is:

There was an error connecting to VMware vCenter Update Manager – [w2k8vapps;443].

The request failed because the server name ‘w2k8ams. .local’ could not be resolved. (The remote name could not be resolved: ‘w2k8ams. .local’)

I have been using Free Download Manager for quite some time now, and I got very used to it.

After installing Windows Vista OS last week I am only able to install it but running the program makes this error message pop-out:

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Hello everyone, Since I’ve updated GTA San Andreas Ultimate Editor I’m encountering a problem when I run the app.

I get an error message that looks like this: “Error # 7, Out of memory, Sub main, Do you want to continue?”

Hey, I’m having a problem with Windows Installer v.3.1.

I’m not sure of the precise moment when the error started to occur, but it seems that the installer file somehow got corrupted, and now all I’m getting is this message:

K8893803v2 Setup Error

KB893803v2 Setup canceled.

Any idea on how to make things work properly again?

Hi,

I tried moving a PDF document to another folder when I got this error message stating that access was denied (see screenshot below).  I wasn’t sure about the permission issue.  I own the laptop and I believe that I have full rights of all files and folders. 

What do you think is the problem?  Any advice on what to do next?  Hope you can provide a simple solution that I can follow.  Thanks in advance.

I went to their forum and got a resolution but I was not that techie and so I couldn’t really follow.
