Misc Software
Just a while ago I purchased the game Spore from a local games store. But when I tried to install it, it didn't work. Is there any possible way to get another serial key, if I can certify that I purchased the game? I do not want to go back to the store to have it replaced, maybe a picture of me holding up my Spore disk would suffice to be given another serial key?
Thanks .

After getting annoying "null" errors I started getting this error code 1-0 saying I'm already registered. Should not there be a "record of force" as JD button for things like this? How can I fix this problem?

Is it possible to bypass the restart process after successfully uninstalling certain software from almost 100 servers? If yes, how?

Its been a couple of months since I played Civ2. I tried to load it in my new computer, but cannot make the program run as it is not compatible with 64 bits. Is there a version of CIV2 for x64? Thank you.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and I have had no problems using it – I can play games, do some editing – and so far have not experienced any crashing. I tried to open a particular stage to play in CIV2 and clicked on it, but an error popped up which says, "Could not load the game: the file format is obsolete." Please help.

I was happy to play Civilization II on a Vistalaptop for months, when it stopped loading yesterday. I clicked Civ.exe and nothing happens. I tried restarting the PC but it didn’t help. As a last option I tried to reinstall from the CD Civ II and that didn’t even work! Any ideas?

I am trying to install the 1.1 patch for the test setup time for CIV2. I guess the patch is supposed to update civ2.exe with an updated version, but this is not happening. Once the installer completes, civ2.exe "disappears" and so the game cannot be loaded.
Please help.

Is there any way to disable the bubbles of information that appear or pop out everytime there is an updated or a change in settings or any system changes? I find them annoying and sometimes the messages are the same and they get on the way of my work. I’ve tried unchecking the check boxes in aid options tips, but it doesn’t help, it seems to have no effect. Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this? Thanks.

I have a question regarding the Autoconfig protocol and oscbonjour. What is the difference between the two? Does the autoconfig protocol require the oscbonjour? What will the autoconfig actually do with the settings? And can I override the settings done by autoconfig manually? Thanks a lot for your input.

I am having conflict issues with the latest version of CCleaner and MSE. I'm constantly getting errors related to the MSE file named MSESysprep.dll. I think it’s the CCleaner that is causing it because the problem started after I downloaded and installed the latest version of CCleaner. Can you please provide me with a solution? Thank you very much.
