I am recently trying to migrate from embedded Visual Basic to Visual Basic 2005 for handheld symbol MC50.

I am facing a problem with the PrEngineCE.dll library. Now when I try to upload this library to VB 2005 I get an error saying: "Please make sure that the file is accessible, and that it is a valid assembly or COM component".

I am doing some testing with AD Import tool but I am getting errors when specifying my domain controller and logon credentials. I have v6.0.23 (SP1) and it has a localhost EMS license.

Here is the error I get;

"There was a problem trying to connect to domain controller. Following error occurred: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist."

I entered my domail as this : dc01.corp.MyDomain.com

Used username as MyDomainMyUser and a password.

Around a month ago I have installed OCS 2007 R2 on my server named OCS (Windows 2008 R2 server) without any trouble. Now, when I try to install the Archiving server on it, it asks me to prepare my Schema and the installation is failing. I am getting the error given below.

"Not available: Failure occurred attempting to check the schema state. Please ensure Active Directory is reachable."

I made some modifications to my Ad and DC. I think this error is a result of it. Modifications I have done are as follows.

I have 2 DC

Alpha (Windows 2003 SP2 R2 server) as Primary DC

Beta (Windows 2008 R2 server)

DNS have installed on both of them and acts as Global Catalog.

Error: javax.naming.PartialResultException [Root exception is javax.naming.CommunicationException: [server]:[port] [Root exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: [server]]]

I am getting this error code 0x800ccc90 and I need a help for this.

I got some feedback from Windows Live assistant named Glenda. She said me to send a snapshot of the error but my system did not let me upload as she wanted. I have windows live 2011 essentials.
