I am having an issue installing the driver for my Wifi USB Edimax series FEW 7318ug. I am using Slackware Linux and have been trying to install the driver of my WiFi USB. I always get an error saying “improper module format”. The driver contains support for open source but I cannot get it done correctly. Is someone having knowledge about this that can help me?

I have a Laptop and the floppy drive keeps on making annoying sounds. The sound won’t go off; I checked the drive if there is a floppy disk inside it but the drive is empty. I don’t know what’s causing this problem. I’ve also checked if there are any objects inside the drive but nothing was found. Please help me anyone regarding this matter.

There are two USB ports at the front of my computer and it was working perfectly fine until yesterday. When I used one of it today it won’t read my pen drive. I plugged the pen drive on the other port and it reads it. I have also tried plugging other removable devices on that port but still it won’t read them.

I’ve recently bought a new graphics card GeForce GT 440. Every time I play 3D games the first problem that I encounter is the game will lag and then there will be a green and sometimes black line on the left screen. I have an updated driver for this which I’ve got directly from NVIDIA web site. I don’t have any problem with my 2 GB RAM. I hope someone can help me regarding this problem.

I am making my final year project and using Labview for it. I have to make RS232 serial communication with my PC but when I open my project application it shows many com ports like  COM1 ,COM2 , LPT and etc but I don’t know which one is my serial port, so that I can communicate.

Is there any software or any method to verify which port I am using?

I forgot my BIOS password and now I have to make some changes in BIOS but I can not open the BIOS. I used the password a few months ago and now I totally forgot it and am having much trouble regarding that.

Is there any method to reset the password or change it?

When I place my both rams in my main board , pc starts but shows black screen but when I take one of them, then it works fine.

I checked both rams respectively and both work fine when they are used separately.

Is there any solution to use both rams at a time?

My Computer suddenly restarts when I try to play some games. It Works fine when I am working with anything else but when I try to start the games like Call of duty 4 or some other games like this, it shows some black screen and then restarts. Is there any solution to solve this matter?

I am fetching a big problem with my laptop.If it stays off for say ten hours,it works properly for less than thirty minutes when  putn.After that if goes off and when i reboot it,it says there is no hard disk drive in the pc.Why is this problem happening?

I am fetching a problem,about malfunctioning of my external hard disk connected through USB2.0 port to my laptop.Unfortunately the external disk was disconnected from laptop when it was in use without following the normal procedure of USB2.0 port.Now my external hard disk device is not recognised by my laptop.Canany one suggest me on how to solve this problem of malfunction  of external device?
