I used to watch DVD movies on my laptop almost every night.  Last night, a DVD stopped middle way and when I took it out and inserted it back, it would not play anymore.  I tried other disks and none would play now. 

What happened to my player? I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver and it was successful but still have the same problem. Any one had the same experience?

A high school friend gave me his laptop after having bought a new one. I've been using it with a wired connection for a time and it was fine. However, when I brought the laptop to my university, I have no idea on how to turn on the wireless adapter in it! Can anybody help me. I have the older model – DELL Inspiron 2200 WiFi ready.

I'm not using my old laptop running on Windows 98 anymore. I'm now using a desktop with a TV-like monitor.  They say that flat screens are now available as monitors and would consume less power and space.  Forgive me if my idea would be stupid.  Can I use my laptop as a monitor for my desktop?

I could not find the letters "ñ" and Ñ on the keyboard. I have to copy and paste these letters if I have to use them to type names on my projects. How do we type these letters without copying and pasting them? I find it such a hassle to have the letters ñ and Ñ ready for copying and pasting each time I need to use them.

I am using Lenovo 3000 G400 C-Notebook with an operating system of “Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3”. I have also installed “Nero StartSmart” in it. I have no problem in writing and reading of a CD with DVD-RAM Drive. But I am facing a problem that it doesn’t work on DVD. I am unable to read or write a DVD on my computer.

To resolve the issue I have also tried to uninstall the” Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A” from the Device Manager. But it does not work out for me. Please help me to resolve this issue.

We are using our own keyboard layout in office environment because of security purpose. On the domain many times it is seemed that keyboard layout is problematic even after installing the office specific layout. Now there is not even actual layout. Keyboard is  problematic as i have checked it on other system.

Then where is the issue and what is the solution.

I have connected all the devices with USB data cable to my PC. Sometimes any USB interface stops its proper connectivity and shows that not connecting or some hardware issue.

I also tried to segregate the data drives and USB port devices and interchanged their ports but the problems occur again and again after some time.

Is it possible that you can determine what is the temperature of my CPU?

Especially when you've used it for a long time? Is there a software needed?

What is that software? Your help is highly appreciated.

I just opened my laptop, but it seems that it hangs with a black screen. It is still working when I last used it, so I don’t know what is causing it to stop working. The power lights are working and blinking, and the mouse pointer is there but beside that, there is nothing more I can see. I am using Windows Vista,and my laptop is made from Acer. Please help me.

My Mouse's Right button Doesn't Work. It doesn't respond to my click. I have tested it on my friend's PC and its working fine. I have tried many times but it's not working in my PC. What's wrong with my mouse? What should I do?
