Whenever I am playing my computer game, especially Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2, I am having a problem with my graphics card/display. I am not sure what is causing this issue. Here are the specifications of my computer:

Radeon HD 6970.

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Intel core i7 CPU 960 @ 3.2 GHz.

While I was doing some benchmarks to see what score my PC receives, I took a look my RAM latency and the values where a little higher.Normally CAS# Latency, Ras# to CAS# Delay and Ras# percharge have all had values of 9. Now they all show values of 11. Is that normal ?

Does PC overclocking has to do with it ? I am afraid that they might break down in a few.

What I want to know is I find it difficult to install a webcam into my computer.

When I am trying to install its very difficult to install as its complicated.

I was using my computer one day and then I inserted the USB flash drive DSE 16GB on my computer to open some important files. Suddenly, a storm just passed over our area and this caused my computer to unexpectedly turn off.

I turned my computer on again and I wanted to browse the important files inside my USB flash drive.

Now the USB can’t be opened and it is only giving me an option to format it. Is my USB flash drive corrupted?

May I know what can I do to get my files back?

Formatting the USB flash drive is not an option as it contains important documents.

I have a problem with my USB data slots. Whenever I insert a flash disk or data cable into any of the slots my Windows freezes. (using XP sp2). After I reboot, I get prompted with this error message:

POWER SURGE ON HUB PORT A USB device has

exceeded the power limits of its hub port.For assistance in solving this problem,click this message", I click on the message -> click repair but nothing happens. What might cause all this trouble ?

As a side note, it has happened to me only recently and thus I am lead to believe that it's not that the devices drain more power than the HUB is designed to support.

Yesterday, I went to a friend of mine to check his PC.

I opened the case and it was full of dust and we both decided to do a clean up (we didn't used any liquid-based product).

After we took care of every component we put them back all together and plugged it in. As soon as I pressed the power button, the whole PC lighten up as if it was about to explode. I then plugged it out and waited for a few minutes.

We then decided to check if it still works and to our amazement it turned on without any problems.

Do you have any idea what might have caused it as it was really dangerous?

I want to do my best to avoid this kind of situation.

I have been using my computer, playing some random game when a noisy sound came out from it. It scared me a little bit as it was really, really noisy, but the computer seemed to be all fine and running.

After a while, I have restarted my computer and not long after some strange colors filled my monitor's desktop. It was as if there was a scrambled program on TV. It then came back to normal and soon after my pc froze.

I am using a mobile set (Acatel) as a Modem. But it is not working now. When I Plug in my device, there is a message in the screen. It says that your USB device is nor recognized by Windows.

I reinstalled the software provided by the company. Still it is not working. What Can I do?

I had this problem ever since I bought this laptop. My CPU temperature stays way above 90 degrees Celsius. It's as if I had another radiator in the room. It's actually impossible to keep it in my lap, what literally makes him not a laptop (laptop – sitting on top of one's lap). However, this is the least of the problems.

My performance is drastically reduced as soon as it hits up (10 to 15 minutes from booting it up). I have searched so many websites for ways to reduce the temperature, but I haven't found anything to help my situation.

I have the following problem:

I was using my Asus R2H netbook on it's own power source (battery) when it suddenly shut down. I then connected the power cable while the battery was still in and turned it on. It started to boot for about 3 seconds then it suddenly went down again. I then put the battery aside and reconnected the power cable. Again, the same issue happened. Basically it doesn't start up anymore. Do you guys have any idea what can I do ?
