Hardware

Hardware

I have a problem with my intel GMA 950. Whenever I try to run a certain application with higher requirements (especially games) this error pops up.

It prompts me that the hardware is not 3d compatible and that it lacks TNL or vertex shader.

I have found out about 3D analyzer but unfortunately it drastically reduces fps to the point of unplayability. Is there any other workaround except for using 3DA that will not affect my experience ?

TrueCrime: Streets of L.A. – Fatal Error

No capable 3D hardware found on your system. This game requires Direct3D compatible hardware that supports either T&L or Vertex and Pixel shaders version 1.1 or higher.

I connected my 42” LCD TV to my laptop using a standard monitor cable, at first I was able to watch movies, but after 30 minutes my 42” LCD TV goes blank screen even tuning to local channel won’t make the screen display.

So I turn off the power of the LCD TV for 20 seconds, the LCD TV is working properly. Then I use the HDMI cable to connect my 42” LCD TV to my laptop and the result is the same.

I am concern with the temperature of my CPU/s, is there a device or software that I can add to my system for me to identify CPU temperature? I know that if the CPU is hot, it will slow everything down even the applications.

So how do I check CPU temperature and how to make my cpu cool?

I just bought 2 computers, but not identical. I will not post their brands here. I use them all the same time for rendering. After 2 hours, PC 1 is making grinding sound but not that bad, while PC 2 is still at stable sound or not that noisy. What could be the differences here? I am suspecting its the fans inside.

Hi,

I am using intel core i3 with intel DH55HC motherboard. Recently i bought xfx ati 5670 agp with 1gb ddr5 memory. After two months  i have no display but there is no beep tone which is naturally occur when hardware errors. So i connect my monitor with the build in agp slot with my motherboard and i have display. But when ever i connect with my external agp i have the same problem. I pull out my agp and find out some rust on it. Is the rust which is causing the problem or it my apg which is gone of ever?

Let me add some thing that i had similar problem before purchasing the xfx agp. Then i was using MSI NVIDIA 240 1gb ddr5 agp. Is the agp or my motherboard is causing problem?

I'm having a problem with my back up hard drive. My D: Drive is recognized in Windows and in my BIOS, but when I try to access the drive in Windows, the computer will freeze. I was able to get some files off of the drive using “GetDataBack”, but some of my important files are not accessible. I've also tried copying the files in DOS, but get a cyclic redundancy check error. Is there anything I can do to get past/repair the CRC errors and recover all of my files?
