Here's the situation. I was trying to install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 in my laptop and it was a successful installation actually. But when I tried to start the MS SQL Server, it didn't show up like I expected. I couldn't write any query, and so on. So I get a new copy of MS SQL Server 2008 from my friend and was going to install this one. But when I tried to remove the old SQL, it denied and can't be uninstalled.

I am looking for somebody to help me on an urgent basis.
I have a SQL 2000 Enterprise edition installed on Windows 2003. Recently I was advised by the vendor to upgrade the version of SQL to 2005, in order to install the new application running on SQL.
However, when I try to upgrade, it asks for the database password, which I cannot locate anywhere. I searched different SITES, and got the procedure to change the DB password, and I tried to change the same on the backup machine. The password was duly changed, but now the application is NOT running. I cannot take this risk on my live machine.

I had a problem importing a large file in mySQL database, using the PHPMyAdmin as my interface to the database.
I am using the PHPMyAdmin version 3.3.10.
When I import about 80MB size of the file into the database, I get this error.
You probably tried to upload too large file. Please refer to the documentation for ways to workaround this limit.
I followed the documentation to fix the problem but still can't import the large file.

I was installing XAMPP and its services, while suddenly an error popped up about the failed installation of Apache and MySQL saying that ports 80, and 3306 are used.
XAMPP 1.7.4 win32
Ports 80 or 443 (SSL) already in use! Installing Apache2.2 service failed!
OK, I closed all other applications but still the error says that ports 80 and 3306 are already in use.

A friend of mine created a database in MS Access 2007. She asked me for some help and sent me the file to work on. I have MS Access 2000 on my computer and haven't been able to open the file. Is there any way to open this file in version 2000. Can these two versions interact with each other?
