Hitachi data systems abbreviated as HDS is one of the well know companies that provide middle and back-end data storage systems, services and software. HDS has for several years been developing and delivering computer solutions for small, big and midsized business organizations.

The suite enhances data protection by the use of a disk to disk technology (D2D technology). The D2D technology improves reliability and quick recovery of data.

It is credited for its flagship solution, the Symmetrix. The EMC Symmetrix product is the foundation that is used in storage networks for many data centers that are very large. The solutions that EMC has produced are meant to store and secure data and information. Its enterprise content management solution is used to store files and documents in secure central databases. The EMC’s security division, RSA Security, develops solutions are meant to secure data, and provide for the management of security information for the business organizations.
