Changes in power options would not take effect

Hi to all the readers,

I am using an HP machine and it is running on Windows XP Service Pack 2. There is an issue with my power options. I tried to set and change the power options, but it does not take effect. I did the usual refreshing of the machine and tried it again but to no avail.

Looking back, I believe there is a security update which was installed on this computer before this happened. In addition, I do not know if the security update is more important than that of my power option issue. I hope someone can suggest a better...

SAS ERROR MESSAGE ON WEBEX

I have a Webex Remote Access installed on my Windows 7 computer but I receive an error message right after I try to open the program. Here is the detailed error message:

Microsoft Office Excel Error Message

Hi there,

 Microsoft Excel 2007 is installed on a 32-bit WXP. An error occurs when an MS Excel file is opened of which the XLS engine under UNIX is used to create the file in Interface of SAS/ACCESS to PC Files. When I try to choose ‘Yes’, the same error message continue to appear. Could I open again these excel files? Some researches are done about this but nothing can help. SAS ERROR MESSAGE ON WINDOWS XP

Hello there,

I have a SAS 9.2 OLAP installed on my Windows XP computer. I have an OLAP cube containing sales data of all sales agent in our company including me. When I was trying to access my user id. I get stuck into this error message.

 

The application encountered an error verifying the following

statement:

CREATE SESSION SET

[TransactionsCube].TEMPORARYNAMEDSET AS

{[Dim SalesPerson].[All Sales People].[SUB::SAS.Userid]}

 

I had no problem using this user id before but is it possible that I can see this error message because my user id is no longer valid in our company database? Has anyone had the same trouble using SAS 9.2...

I cannot install Google Chrome in my XP Pro

Dear All,

My friend and I went out of the country for a vacation. We stayed in her grandmother’s house. It's nice because they know that we want to be online forever. Hi Experts!

I am unable to change my desktop background

Hi Experts,

I have another laptop MSI Wind U100, a net book. It is running on a Windows 7 Starter and I have a little issue on it. The net book is new and it does not have an Operating System installed before, so my brother installed it with the new Windows 7 Starter Edition.

Cisco webcam won’t work with new HP computer

 

Hi Elizabeth,
 
This could be arises because you did not restart MY Computer after unplug your webcam and plug it back.
 
To make the webcam work again, you could simply try to quit and restart My Computer.
If this still does not work, restart again. Microsoft has already confirmed this as a bug.

The laptop is working, but in Japanese Language

I just bought a second hand Toshiba laptop from eBay which I like to give to my little sister. When I finally received the laptop, from its package to the laptop and with its accessories, I am to say that it is well maintained by the previous owner.
