Hi,

I tried upgrading my Skype version but I had trouble doing it. 

I then tried uninstalling Skype via Windows Control Panel but still had problems doing it.  I tried installing Skype again but now I got this error message stating that I got a fatal error.

This has been frustrating. 

Please help me restore my Skype.

I was installing a software when this error message popped up, see below. 

Is there a workaround for this error? 

I really need to install this software to an old operating system.

I have searched the web and didn’t see any resolution.

Hi Experts,

I have been successfully doing updates on my computer when I got this message (see below) displayed on my PC. 

I tried to ignore and close this message but it kept on appearing whenever I did my windows updates. 

What should I do to permanently get rid of this error? 

I hope someone can give me a step by step procedure.

We are using LiteSpeed for our SQL Servers.  While I was installing one, I got this error message (see below). 

I have tried uninstalling and installing LiteSpeed but I still got the same error message.  Is there something wrong with the SQL software? 

Please help and advise on what to do.  Thanks.

I tried installing an update for the .NET Framework 1.1 with my Vista when I got this error message, see below. I also received an error code 643. I have seen the Microsoft websites but I need a simpler or easier method to resolve my problem.

I got this error message when I tried installing a Microsoft Windows service pack where an error code was also indicated. 

I have searched the web regarding this error and have included the error code number but it seems nobody has encountered yet this error. 

Can somebody please help me?

Hello Experts,

I was upgrading my old browser to Internet Explorer 8 but it failed. 

I came across to this website, URL https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/949220/ . 

I tried following the easier methods but still the upgrade failed.  Is it better to uninstall the old version? 

I am scared to uninstall the old IE version because I might destroy some Windows files.

I was installing a program that I downloaded from the internet when I received the error message below. 

I tried downloading and installing the same program on my laptop, my other machine, but I was surprised when I did not receive the error and instead was successfully installed.  

I tried reinstalling but the same thing happened. 

What did I do wrong on my other PC?

I was unable to install Microsoft Office OneNote 2010 Stand-alone product. I am getting "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component." I was playing MapleStory when this error message popped up (see error message below).  

I have searched the web and it points me to a registry problem or to a Microsoft operating system-related problem.

I recently updated my operating system but this would have also caused some registry updates.  So, which is which?

How would I determine which path to resolve this issue?
